Well let's see where shall I begin...
I guess the beginning is always best.
A few years ago I started on this new eating lifestyle. A lifestyle that would better my body and my health. I have went to school to study and research as much information as I could to gain the knowledge on how to live and eat healthy. And then I followed that information to the letter.
The problem that I came into is that everyone whom I loved and spent most of my time with didn't want to follow after those same footsteps. No matter how much I taught them that healthy eating would bring them more energy, help them lost weight, or even save them money in the long run, they wanted to continue down their path of sufficing their cravings with every evil, "no, no" thing that us in the healthy world would cringe over.
Though every client I have worked with seemed to understand the importance of the message I brought to them. Some have exceeded even my expectations and excelled into healthy horizon losing hundreds of pounds collectively. So where did the problem lie. After much thought I realized it was the familiarity of knowing ME. I than began to indulge into what they constantly said I was missing, because I was eating only "grass". I had every intention of showing them that there was nothing to miss. I have triple chocolate cake would taste just as disgusting as I trained my mind to think. Somehow my taste-bud didn't agree with that same logic.
After that bite that I took that finished the slice that was given to me, I began to cry internally having felt defeated by crossing into the darkness of eating something that was forbidden. Which posed a question later on, "who makes the rules?" Don't get me wrong, my life long goal is to help people achieve a completely healthy life in their physical, spiritual, mental states. But I wanted to know who makes the rules in your life. Who decides what you think, what you wear, and what you eat?
